Our Secondary School provides students with the knowledge, skills and support to navigate their teenage years with confidence and prepare for life beyond school. Learning is grounded in a Christian worldview, encouraging students to engage thoughtfully with their studies and the world around them.
From Years 7 to 10, students build strong foundations across a broad core curriculum while having opportunities to explore subjects that align with their interests and strengths.
We are committed to continuing to provide an education consistent with our founding purpose.
The College’s vision is to nurture and prepare young people for a life of responsible discipleship in God’s Kingdom and to help parents equip their children for effective, God-glorifying lives post Secondary school. We work in partnership with parents to ensure that each student’s educational experience is nurturing and successful, and that God’s purposes and plans will become clearer as they grow and mature.
Through the Secondary School years, young adolescents undergo a myriad of changes; physical, emotional, social and intellectual development all occurs simultaneously. Identity begins to form as young people journey toward adulthood, and it is essential through this time that a nurturing learning environment is maintained, enabling students to flourish and reach for their best.
Our choice-based elective program allows students to extend their learning beyond the core curriculum. With subjects spanning multiple areas, students can explore different interests and develop practical skills.

The Homegroup system provides students with consistent pastoral support throughout their secondary years. It gives students a space to build relationships, develop spiritually and stay organised as they take greater responsibility for their learning.
Bayside Christian College recognises the utmost importance of creating environments where every student feels known, safe and genuinely cared for. This care extends beyond academic and emotional wellbeing to include each student’s spiritual wellbeing, where we nurture their sense of purpose, belonging and connection.
Through compassionate, holistic support, we seek to ensure every student is seen as a whole person and has the encouragement and care they need to flourish. This includes our Secondary Student Wellbeing Mentor who is available to all students alongside Year Level Coordinators, Head of Secondary, and their teachers.
