2024 Expression of Interest Form
Bayside Christian College is proud to continue offering Instrumental Music Lessons in 2024.  Lessons are available in Piano, Guitar, Drums, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Violin, Cello and Voice.  Lessons can be held during class time or before/after school hours, making it easy for your child to develop a valuable and life-long love of music.

If you are interested in your child/ren undertaking instrumental music lessons, please complete the Expression of Interest Form below. Your submission will be forwarded on to the relevant instrumental teacher, whereupon they will contact you to discuss fee payment and the commencement date for lessons.  

Tuition fees are invoiced directly to the parents by the instrumental music teacher. Fees are usually payable per term, within 14-30 days of receipt of invoice from the teacher, unless an alternative arrangement has been negotiated. Some instruments may be available for hire from the College.

Fees Structure

The instrumental music teachers will send their term fees invoice at the beginning of each term. Parents need to pay this in a timely manner and communicate directly with the teacher if alternate arrangements need to be made.

Lessons may be made up if a student misses a lesson but no refunds will be given. Depending on your chosen programme, you may be required to supply your own grade book or sheet music for the lessons at your own expense.

Expectations for Students

Students must be prepared to commit to regular practice on their instrument. Ideally this involves setting aside a consistent time slot of 10-15 minutes after school each day. 

It is also recommended that the students participate in an ensemble or choir where possible to consolidate what they are learning and gain valuable experience by playing/singing with others.
